They have Croatian ancestry and most of them identify like that. It's interesting to see how they look in other parts of the world. Yes, I'm aware that they have mixed.

No, It's even funny when I saw them once on TV, I would never say they're anything Croatian if they didn't have Croatian football t-shirts lol.

In that case, I suppose they will complete their assimilation in 2 or 3 generations (I mean they will completely forget their origin).

I don't know, even though majority of them doesn't look Croatian anymore, they are kinda funny in positive way because they keep on insisting on their Croatian roots lol.

I mean, when I was watchin them on one documentary It wasn't like I laughed at them when they said they're Croatian, but I was just smiling, like... "Jesus...hm...ok..."

I don't know why, but watching this reminded me of Bosniaks in Turkey. It's pretty much the same story, genetically mixed, linguistically assimilated, I see them as more Turk than Bosniak.

It's amazing in a way, you can see the generations of assimilation right in front of your eyes, by looking at them and listening to them talk.
