When the Kingdom of Granada was taken, the majority of the Muslim population fled to the Maghreb and the few that remained formed very closed communities that in turn were expelled in 1609. The truth is that the Muslim invasion left almost no genetic trace in Spain .

All my ancestors, as far as I can trace, are from the old Kingdom in Granada. My northafrican/Middle eastern/black/jewish is nonexistant on 23andme (100% iberian with my both parents phased). I am on the way to explore other genes blogs/calculators and so on.

It seems moors dont fled to Americas and did not had a impact on the continent, but New Christians who are Jews that traveled to Iberia with muslins and lived in their kingdoms had a significant impact on Central America and Caribean. Mexico was a important New Christian destination and today their caucasian admixture is east shifted when compared to iberians. Also, there is a important canarian admixture on caribean region DR, PR and Cuba. Finally, Colombia and Chile probably has an excess of basque admixture compared to the average iberian.
