There is a lack of support by the Bulgarian state to the Pomaks, where there is a strong to manipulative support by the Turkish state to the Turks.

Turkish state funds the Turks of the Muslim minority, pay for the for satelite TV, etc.

Couldn't this potentially make the Pomaks leave Greece and find work in Turkey? If they can speak the language and consider themselves Turks and due to Turkey's growing economy could they potentially leave Thrace to find better work?

I would like to say I'm enjoying the presence of Bulgarian forum posters on this website to give their insight, I havn't found alot of forums with active Bulgarian posters like this one.

This is bullshit, definitely not 1 million Bulgarians have been lost...the number is much smaller.
And I've never heard an ethnicity to disappear that way. Do you know how fast we can reproduce if needed? This can just go naturally, no need to hurry .
Also those things about gypsies overcoming Bulgarians are a little fairytale. I don't believe statistics that much.
Also Bulgarians are not 5.6 but maybe around 6.5 million. If you count those living abroad, the number is about 9 million...enough to reach demographic safety and sustainability.
