Default Which South Slavic language should I learn?

I am fluent in two East Slavic languages, Ukrainian and Russian, have very good comprehension of Belarusian and Rusyn, and am in the process of learning a West Slavic language, Polish. My Polish is going very, very well, and I'm really becoming Slavophilic as a result of it. Which South Slavic should I add to my collection, in the distant future (since I also need to get back to my Hebrew)? Please list the reasons why, such as: difficulty, sources to learn, which sounds the best, which has more Slavic or Graeco-Roman vocabulary, which gives me understanding of other South Slavic languages the most, etc.

Macedonian. Knowing Macedonian means you can understand both Bulgarian and Serbo-Croatian. You should be able to converse with the majority of South Slavs then

Isn't Serbian grammar much more complicated? How can you understand it if Macedonian has no cases? I mean sure, you understand the words, but understanding the meaning of the sentence should be hard for you.

Bulgarian language has the richest history of the above and Scripts developed in Bulgaria such as Cyrillic are used for most Slavic languages today, so, Bulgarian should have pretty good similarities to Church Slavonic as well.

Serbo-Croatian in my opinion. So you would be able to understand Bosniak and Montenegrin w/o problem

Macedonian and Bulgarian are one language.

Serbo-Croatian. Learning it you'll be able to communicate with people all the way across ex-Yu because knowledge of this language is widespread. I think other South Slavic languages are beautiful too, but you would have fewer opportunities to use it and practice it.
