Mine are in the middle of the top row light blue with a small area of light gray in the middle, but they appear a more deep blue in unlit

That map is baloney, the best way to sum it ups would be to say the further north in europe you go the more light eyes, this is true for example in the British Isles, I have noticed that in the south of England around 40-60% have blue/ green eyes but in scotland almost everyone has light blue eyes, and there is a similar trend in Germany

Mine would be the 1st middle one from the bottom & I have been said
to have red eyes under lights, kinda werewolfish - the girls love it!

This is a total bullshit, Levant being lighter eyed than Central Italy, Western part of Balkans being light eyed as Denmark, and Southern coastal Spain as light eyed as Northern Italy?

Interesting. Seems to be wrong IMO well at least the part of Morocco that is shaded. I could see how a lot of Ashkenazi Jews would have Blue eyes in Israel but that part that is shaded goes up further than Israel.

Although the part with part of Morocco and North Algeria shaded could be explained by French-Algerians perhaps?

The pied-noirs (more than 1,500,000 people) left North Africa after the Algerian and Moroccan total independences, and in some regions like Oran or Algeri they were more than 50% of the population...if this map is a before-1965 map, could be an explanation.
