Yeah... that's why "don't ask - don't tell" was such a good idea and when when the conscript/volunteer got his psychological/medical examinations here and the moment the applicant told them that he was a homosexual he got himself a nice big fat S5 for mental instability and was shown the door.
But now that the policy (at least in the U.S army - I am not sure about the Dutch army and I will need to look that one up) was been revoked those that go out to fight should be treated as heroes and veterans. That's the price that is to be paid for revoking "don't ask don't tell".
