On average they're considerably darker than Georgians but they have more Medish features. So fairer Armenians can pass better as Georgians for Southern Euros. Additionally folks from Northern part of Armenia and some provinces like Karabakh are not much different from Eastern Georgians (but the latter are considered darkest and woggiest in Georgia).

Kurds are really heterogenous in looks. You can get very fair ones (compared even to Georgians) and really dark individuals that would stick out in both Armenia and Georgia. I would still say that they are a bit darker than Armenians (especially Iranian ones).
Compared to Easten Armenians look somewhat alike but more Caucasoid (lack East Asian admix). Both Armenians and Georgians are swarthier than Western Turks on average. North-Eastern Turks look almos like Western Georgians.

Armenophobia aside this is rather normal assumption. Blondism is quite uncommon among Armenians from my experience. And genetic studies show that North European components are close to zero in Armenia.

Actually, in the historic areas of Armenians in present day Northeast Turkey, there were good amount of light haired Armenians, also in portions of northern Armenia.

It's not a normal assumption, because of the varied sources of genetic contributions to Turks. In the end the assumption mostly comes from Armenophobia than anything else.

From my personal experience, while of course a minority, I've come across a good amount of light haired Armenians.
