Well, many Aegean Turks and Kabylians are just as light-skinned. If you talk about the whole region, then yeah, that's different.

Dude Black Sea people are even lighter. You know Northern Turkey, AKA Black Sea Region mostly has an Oceanic climate, and it tends to be cloudy mostly, and it rains a lot. So people native to that area are light skinned, fair haired.
