Now you know why I don't interact with people in a social manner that much, and think its a ridiculous notion for the most part.

Its sad to see how much American has degenerated whether it be in a racial, hygenic, mental, physical, or cultural manner.

There are still a few gems out there among which one can communicate on a high level with though.

Most of the dates I've been on were the result of friends introducing me to their female friends, though no lasting relationships ever resulted, despite that the dates were more pleasurable with those women than with people I sought out independently as we were able to predetermine trustworthiness to a degree because of our mutual friends.

Always had bad experiences with seeking a woman out at a learning institution or a bar, the bar being the worst of the two for a variety of reasons.

Some advocate the internet hook up, but I've never attempted it and am skeptical about successes in doing such though that is not to say I would never attempt such, would just have to err on the side of caution and be very wary until a certain number of IRL encounters have elapsed.

I don't do bars. I'm thinking of trying out the dating websites, specifically the ones you pay to use.

Forums/chats are a joke and an epic waste of time.

I guess it's not considered cool but I actually enjoy meeting people online. The internet gives you a chance to screen someone before you go on a date with them. And there's honestly nothing more weird about an internet person vs. someone you meet at a bar or club or anywhere else.

True, not saying one ought to completely rule such an avenue out, just be slower to act and be wary early on until everything "checks out" so to say.

Then again, people ain't always who they say they are IRL so there may be little advantage in that regard over the internet.
