Being that he is reported to be half Hispanic, thanks to a glance at my local newspaper, the guy can't be considered "white". White means 100% Euro ancestry. He can be reported to have a white parent, but he isn't white himself because of the hispanic part. Many people who are considered hispanic have some Euro ancestry from the Spanish, so if he can be defined by one word, he is HISPANIC.

They're severely stretching the definition of white to include this Peruvian Mestizo.

Because it goes against what every other witness said. This is some random anonymous dude. But since he confirms your already biased opinion, you are quick to agree with every thing he says. Every other witness? You mean the guy's girlfriend? He said/she said is all that is.

This John person corroborates Zimmerman who had multiple injuries correlating with him being on the ground being beaten.

While you bitch and moan about Fox News, you cannot explain why your progressive link selectively cherrypicks information and doesn't mention the man who saw out the window nor does it mention Zimmerman's real race nor does it mention Zimmerman's multiple injuries. What about agenda pushing again? Why are these things ignored?

- The witness says that George Zimmerman was screaming and yelling for help.
- Police arrive and find Zimmerman bleeding on his face and the back of his head. He also has had grass stains on his back. All this confirms the story told by Zimmerman and the witness.
- Police play the 911 tape for Trayvon Martin's father, who tells police that the voice screaming is not the voice of his son.

George Zimmerman is Hispanic and grew up in a multiracial family, the statement says.

“He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever …,” the letter says. “The media portrayal of George as a racist could not be further from the truth.”

The portrayal of George Zimmerman in the media, as well as the series of events that led to the tragic shooting are false and extremely misleading. Unfortunately, some individuals and organizations have used this tragedy to further their own causes and agendas.

George is a Spanish speaking minority with many black family members and friends. He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever. One black neighbor recently interviewed said she knew everything in the media was untrue and that she would trust George with her life. Another black neighbor said that George was the only one, black or white, who came and welcomed her to the community, offering any assistance he could provide. Recently, I met two black children George invited to a social event. I asked where they met George. They responded that he was their mentor. They said George visited them routinely, took them places, helped them, and taught them things and that they really loved George. The media portrayal of George as a racist could not be further from the truth.
