"Why is it ok to hate on Gypsies" from another forum

Everywhere on the internet as well as the few times ive discussed it in real life, people from all over the world have this mutual hatred and disgust towards gypsies, and unlike other groups who are highly discriminated against (like blacks and jews) you hardly ever hear anyone feeling guilty about it, for some reason people believe gypsies deserve this hatred and that they are to be blamed for it alone.

Blacks and jews because of what has happened to them in history, get praised and uplifted by the media all the time, blacks get lots of unmerited praise by the media because of the slavery and white guilt.

Jews to a much lesser extent get uplifted because of the Holocaust and because they are a powerful ally today to the US , however in the jews case i feel they deserve the praise to a degree, because they have proven to be intelligent and they still dont get as much media exposure as blacks and they have never behaved even nearly as bad as blacks have in society, jews also dont cry and weep (like babies) about racism even nearly as much as blacks do.

and for every hater that blacks and jews have, they have twice as many liberals of different ethnicites who defend them even when they have nothing to argue with and the hate actually is deserved. This is especially common when the topic is about blacks.

Gypsies on the other hand are alone in this, and for a time i think they deserved some of the hate they got because of their criminal behavior and refusal to assimilate, but then i read about how they where discriminated against to a similar degree as jews and blacks, everwhere they went, ever since they entered europe ca 1000 years ago, and the media has pretty much ignored the racial crimes and discrimation commited to gypsies and for that reason people seem to think that gypsies chose themselves to be segragated, even though this history of discrimination is probably a major part of the reason

so what do people here think about gypsies? do you think they deserve to be hated by all?

I think its interesting point of view so i wanted to share.

Some of that "hate" comes with good reason.
