Difference between West Baltid and Baltid (NOT East Baltid)

There are a number of threads dedicated to the differences between West and East Baltid.

In my opinion too, but I was wondering about these two.

Simple. West-Baltids are between Baltid and Cromagnid, even usually more CM. While Baltids are essentially slightly more robust Alpinids with a somewhat borealised face and light pigmentation.

The ''West Baltid'' term is nonsense. It's just old school nonsense to try and distinguish people as west and east something. Beside, there are East Baltids more than West Baltids in Sweden. I prefer to call ''West Baltid'' Eastern Cromagnoid because it's much accurate. The difference between West Baltid and Baltid proper is that the former is not belong to Cromagnoid specimen.

IMO, West Baltid/East Cromagnoid variants look quite Eastern more than even Baltid proper variants.

There are more who fit the "East" than "West" Baltid type in Norway as well.
