German Railways sponsors two-year program for surviving Romani victims of Nazism in the Czech Republic

A special two-year social care program for the surviving victims of Nazism has been launched in the Czech Republic by the Živá paměť (Living Memory) public benefit corporation. Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) has sponsored the program with CZK 3.44 million (EUR 139 000).

The new program intends to support those survivors of Nazism who have impaired mobility. Living Memory informed the Czech Press Agency that the program will also specifically target Romani survivors of Nazism.
