    Hazara people are iranian tribe from Afghanistan, probably they settled in this region after great Mongol invasion.

    Hazaras are quite a hybrid mix of Mongolian/Persian, and there is some additional Turkish blood as well.

    They are persian speakers so theoretically they are iranian but also they have huge mongolian influence. Gigantic population of Hazara are descendants of Genghis-khan.

    They identify very closely to Iranians, they are also Shias and they don't speak Mongolian, but a dailect of Persian in fact. They are said to be mixture of the Mongol men and the local Persian women.

    1/3 of Hazara males have R1b Haplogroup just like Uyghurs and Bashkirs.
