Race at work: would you treat your non-white colleague differently?

Yep. I have worked with many different people of races and cultures that are not the same as mine

Nope. I have no reason to do that.

How would you feel working for a black boss or have a superior who is black? If you have this already, how do you feel about it?

It wouldn't bother me anymore than working for anyone else. If my boss is cool....great! If my boss is a douchebag, they're gonna be a douchebag regardless....whether they're black or white won't matter....I'd dislike them, anyway.

No, I wouldn't (and don't) treat them differently, regardless of whether they're a superior or a peer. Competency is the only thing that matters.

I'd be ought of a job, in violation of EEOC statutes, and most likely looking at discriminatory charges in court if I took a bad attitude towards non-whites into work. No deal.

I don't have white colleagues lol. People here at work are cool. The one I like the most is actually quite fully amerindian physically.

No people should be treated on their behavior and professional manner rather on their phenotype or race. However in general this goes not only for work but general life, never had racist/racialist feelings, and probably due to the fact I am mixed.

As a matter of fact I do treat people of different races differently in my workplace. Its due to the fact that behavior of people affected by cultural background and brings different attitude to the workplace. Sure there are differences even between people within same ethnicity but I can see clear general patterns specific to one ethnic group or another.

There are so, so, so many non-white nurses and midwives in the UK. I definitely feel like a minority much of the time. My mum-in-law is the director of midwifery at one of London's largest hospitals, and recently was taken to court by an insane black midwife accusing her of racial discrimination because she got fired for being a shoddy midwife. My mum-in-law wasn't even the one to give her the sack! ANOTHER BLACK MIDWIFE did. And do you know what this insane woman said? That my mum-in-law was making her 'do the white man's dirty work' by firing her.

Do I treat any of my non-white coworkers differently? No. We all have a job to do. Our patients are far more important than anything else.

Yes of course,but the only work I would accept for niggers would be cleaning my toilet,if at all. I'll never get in the situation where I have to do with lots of non-Whites. Most of the non-Whites in Germany have a very bad graduation and work in jobs such as ticket collector,hair dresser,cleaners or taxi drivers. After my study I'll have nothing to do with these subhumans. And my hope is that the people in Europe awake and kick these vermins out of Europe, so I have not even think about such bullshit.
