Default Who is closer to Iberians: British/Irish or Germans?

Who is closer? (Might seem obvious, but after having seen similar polls, I think it would be interesting)

British and Irish obviously. Iberia had historic links to the whole western coast of Europe - France and the Isles, I don't think there are much links between it and Germany.

Not to mention that the most of the ancestors of the British would have come from or passed through Spain from the recolonisation after the LGM right through until Celtic times.
Britain (especially England) also had a strong input from NW Europe too, but Spain hasn't.

    British/Irish, there's a broader overlap.

British/Irish obviously. I see almost no overlap with Germans, except for some Azoreans who look kind of Dutch and by extension similar to some Germans.

Probably due to the Flemish impact there?

Historically the answer should be Germans (Germanic Invasions), but genetically it seems it's British/Irish. GB is closer than DE:

It may have to do with the Paleolithic populations of both places having been somewhat more similar.
