Default Scottish Independence: Implications for Northern Ireland and Other Realms

If the next referendum creates an Independent Scotland, what are the implications for Northern Ireland, and by extension, England and Wales? Would NI feel loyal to England? Would the English resent Northern Ireland as a charity case and anachronism? Discuss.

This flag takes some getting used to:

Well Technically the Union Jack was brought in before the UK was Created and the Union of Scottish and English Parliaments. It's a Royal Flag.
If we have Scottish Independence, the Queen of England, Queen of Scots shall remain.
So the Unionists can still keep their flag.

Can't see the Orangemen in Northern Ireland changing their mind. It's all about spite there.

This flag takes some getting used to:

The red diagonal lines would be at least twice as thick as that. They were narrowed to accomodate the white diagonal cross on the Scottish flag.
