More dangerous are fucked-up people trying to harm me or any of the persons I love. I wouldn't try kill anyone not even in the more extreme circunstance, but I prefer to have more resources which I could use in defense of myself and other people, than being in a disadvantage that could cost lifes and something else more important than material property.
