I expect people to exercise their own judgment and use common sense.

Common sense tells me not to abuse/hit my wife, or gf. There are other ways to work out arguments and disagreements, really, i'm not sure how you're justifying this, you're always saying that Biblically men should have "ownership" over the wife but this is not accurate, the man is the head of the Household, and, frankly, there is a big difference between head of the household and "owning' your wife.
Basically you're giving your husband the "green light" to abuse you , as far as I'm concerned. But hey, I guess if that's your thing.

Just because a person doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they don't grasp what you're talking about.

Women do not have the same reasoning abilities as men. That doesn't mean women can't reason with men, it means that men should keep this in mind when listening to women.

But when you are in a situation where the woman has messed up, it's just so much easier and more structured to beat her.

No, I didn't, but you're talking about hitting your wife, two different things. It's like what I was saying about "ownership" of the wife.

1) You own the woman because she was created for you by God.

2) Since you own her you can do whatever you want with her. Can you do whatever you want with your other possessions? Yes. Then why would this not apply to your woman?

In Christianity it's very clear that the man is superior to the woman and the woman is property, and that the woman was created for the man. This is what Christianity is supposed to be like.

You are miss-understanding what "men should be the head of the women" means.
In the first place christian orthodoxy is not allowing the husband beating the wife (that as a parenthesis) ,but that saying (that "head of the woman is man") is with different meaning,with mystical meaning.
Because if you would actually be more careful,you would see that what is told there is about praying and prophesying (inspired by Holy Spirit) and not about the relations between the man and his woman in marriage.
So is said there more exactly:
"3.But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4.Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
"


That is what that text is saying.
The text is about mystical life and I hardly doubt is anyone interested here about the understanding of it.So the words are used metaphorical including man and woman which are used for expressing about the depths of human mind and soul.
If someone is really interested in it,she/he can google the understanding and will find written a lot from christian orthodoxy about it .

As for the saying from the Holy service of marriage in Christian orthodox church about the woman that she should have fear of her man,is not said in the sense of which some are miss-understanding.
But is told in the sense of the woman should respect her man and is also added that the man should love (in the sense of taking care) his woman and these are as advices not as commandments,advices for those who want to have a marriage that will work nice,a successful marriage.

Because the usual man will not like to be humiliated (neither by his woman,since a lot of men wait their women to offer them words of comfort and so on ) ,like having the woman telling him that he is dumb he would not like it.
And most women will not like to see that their man is not giving attention to them,that the their man is not loving them.

Because those - need for respect and need for love are some of the basic needs of usual men - who want respect and usual women - who want love.

Actually is not like that in normal Christianity,men and women are created to be different but equal.Nowhere in normal Christianity is told that the women is property to the man.

* The woman was created inferior to the man. And the woman was created for the man. Therefore the woman is in subjection to the man.

* The veil symbolizes that the woman is inferior and in subjection. It is a marker of rank.

2) How do we know this means a Christian woman has to cover her face?
