Where were your ancestors from?

Western Europe, or Southwestern Europe. I am from Portugal, which is a place which has the westernmost point of Europe (Cape Roca, "onde a terra se acaba e o mar começa"), to the exception of Iceland, so I cannot really include it only in the southern sphere.

My father's family line come from the northwestern tip of Portugal, Póvoa de Lanhoso in Minho, near Galicia.

My mother's family line come from Baixo Alentejo, from a town called Moura, not far from the border with Andalucia.

I have lived since ever in Lisbon's metropolitan area though.
