As for health reasons......mate i was invalided out of the army after breaking my back,my legs,my arms,my ribs,teeth and all sorts of other minor and major breaks in a parachuting accident.
I looked like a fucking biafran after having spent months in the hospital.

I moved down to Brighton into a mates flat and got a job hod carrying on the marina they were building....i could hardly walk let alone carry a hod full of bricks up a ladder.
After one summer working like a nigge...erm White man (seeing as how i have never seen a nigger work) i was fit as a fiddle.....and they told me i would never walk again.
Mind over matter old son.

im sorry what happened to you first of all and second you were very lucky then, i doubt everyone is so lucky or even majority of people who had such incidents happened, usually hard work breaks you not "makes you fit", thats why people who worked 20-40 years hard labour have broken legs, bones and pain, and are not afterwards "fit like sneakers". but for you it worked out, im happy that it was like that.

yet i dont fear hard labour, but hard labour is not the "healthiest" thing to do, or just "right" to loose weight. thats a misinformation or misunderstanding. yet sitting at home makes you ill too, you will say but thats why i need to find the right balance. and i think im on right path, because i will get a job in soon future, where i work in a mini-store, physically work, cleaning, sorting out, etc.

IM, Duke was totally right in his post about swimming. It's the best option you can get and it won't hurt your joints. Losing weight should be fun, without yo-yo effects. Just listen to your body and don't jump on the scale every day...relax. I crossed my fingers for you
