    I don't understand why some of the letters did not come out properly in the list. I will have to fix it.

    Also to note is that in English the infinitive form of a verb puts the word TO in front of the word and in Serbian the letters TI is added at the end of the word. In Spanish, however, infinitive words end in -ar, -er, or -ir.

    For example:

    English: To Be, To Eat
    Serbian: Biti, Jesti

    Yes, PIE didn't have proper infinitives (or at least, not a fixed system of infinitives) so each IE branch more or less came up with its own solution. Where does the Slavic -TI come from?
