btw I don't think Austrians are that tall and Italians so short, everytime I see youngsters and happen to go to the University it's really rare to see males under 1,80 and females under 1,70.

Probably young ppl is alot taller then mature and old ppl in all European countrys. Because they have better life and more food during childhood

Ppl that doesnt had money for buying enuff food when they was young usually 10-15cm shorter then other ppl.

For example North Koreans is poor and they had problems with getting food,they are 7-15cm shorther then South Koreans.
