    I think if a Puerto Rican has Italian ancestry they'll know, since it would be as recent as Italian Americans' Italian ancestry.

    Anyway, Italian ancestry in PR is not that common, so it can't explain everyone with a fake Italian score on 23andme.

    From my known ancestry I know that there is not recent Italian ancestry. But I know literally NOTHING about my fathers mothers family so it's "possible". But if it turns out there is not recent Italian blood then I guess it is Sephardi,

    go to your Relative Finder.. if Italy isn't appearing you don't have Italian ancestry probably

    I have some in Italy, Greece and Corsica. But they are only around .10 to .86 % .
