Mexican accents are not bad. The worst "Spanish" accent is what I call Spanish ebonics.. Spanish spoken by Puerto Ricans and Dominicans in New York, and it literally sounds like an African American speaking Spanish.

Catalan is my second favorite of the Iberian languages, like a mix of Italian and Castillian - in fact, I can understand more spoken Catalan than Castillian
