Yeah if Polish people are considered WOGs in Australia, then I don't think Ashkenazi Jews would be considered white by that standard. Generally the most "northern looking" Ashkenazim look Polish/South German/French/North Italian. The most "exotic" ones look Iranian/Afghan or Roma.

Yeah you don't even have to pass in Europe to pass for white in the US. I'm not sure about Australia. At leaat eighty percent of pure Ashkenazi Jews could pass West of Turkey, and so I think they'd be white passing wherever Italians or Greeks are white passing.

It should also be mentioned that "wog" in Australia is mostly associated Southern Europeans and only Levantines on occasion. All other MENA ethnic groups are just called Arab or Persian, not really considered a wog. So there may be a difference in the meaning.

No it's not, she's using the term wrong. I've only ever heard the term "passing" in real life to describe people with a bit of negro blood who hide their ancestry to become a part of white society. Southern Europeans and Jews are considered simply white and don't need to pass as anything. Light Middle Easterners like Lebanese and Assyrians and such are legally whiter but not always seen as white socially because many Americans tend to lump all MENA people into an "Arab" category.
