What language(s) do you want to learn?

To have most of Europe covered linguistically knowledge of two Romance, two Germanic, two Slavic languages and a Greek language would fit the bill. My personal preference would be: French, Spanish, English, German, Russian, Polish and Greek. That would suffice

...Sanskrit, so that I could read the Upanishads and the Vedanta sutras in the original. Unfortunately, I tried to some years ago and found that I could no longer memorise vocabulary as I could in my youth.

Well, and to respond to the thread I would say, unfortunately, my own. I spent much of my childhood abroad, and I'm embarrassed to know much better a foreign language than my native language.
