I think the trend in America is going towards less Christianity,in few years they will be as atheist as western europe today
None in the heavens or on earth, except God, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment).

I don't think so. The Christians in the US are very vocal and their population larger than that of most of Europe. Despite the US being founded on strongly secular values, religion has a far stronger grip on politics and society in the US than in any place in Europe.
Conservative America is especially Christian, adamantly so. The modern principles of Conservative America is based on Christianity. God, guns and gays: that's a popular Republic line. Also, all of the Republican presidential candidates identify as believing Christians. And Rick Santorum is Christian in a very obnoxious way (look up the definition of Santorum and that's how obnoxiously Christian he is).
The trend is probably going for less Christianity, but the Americans will still be a good deal more Christian than Western Europe in a few years. It would probably take decades in my opinion. And we know that trends can change.
Currently, I see it likely that America is split in two: Conservative Christian America and Liberal Secular America. In fact, it already is to some extent, but this division is going to get stronger.

Most christian is either southern states or Utah.

No no no... For such an "advanced" country religion yet dominates the country. Look at all the politicians in the country, most are religious fanatics who oppose same sex marriage, birth control, abortion, deny evolution and still hold on to dumb religious teachings. The biggest issues the American public want in their next president is what their policy is on same sex or birth control and not issues that really matter(wars, economy, education, etc) But this is more so in the South in the area known as the "Bible Belt"..

Let's talk a little treason (Irish saying):
Lavon Affair ; Israel Honors Jewish Terrorists Who Attacked America ; The Truth About the Talmud : Do Jews truly have any loyalty but the loyalty to Israel

I doubt atheism will spread in America, and I don't care either way, because I sort of detest most belief systems whether they are attempting to affirm or negate the existence of some divine being. Its why I remain around the spectrum of Deist/Agnostic, and find illegitimate to attempt to prove or disprove the existence of some divine being. Anyway people don't understand how secular some of the bible belt is, and how much it has been over washed with mass consumerism and materialism.
These people have still held on just as tightly to their religions, because its a traditional aspect of their life, and its all part of being a good Southern. In terms of religion its a highly American cultural deal to practice and engage in it, and in some areas you would get looked at weird if you proclaimed to be a Deist/Agnostic/Atheist. The thing is the original forms of Christianity which settled in America were highly secular, built on a capitalistic model, and that it was America's material destiny to rule and conquer the world.
The Puritans and most Calvinist remained in niches, and did not really present themselves on any global level, but they have inspired the visions and spirit of the American dream. A lot of secular goal and ambitions have been inspired by religious ideals, and many religious ideals are driven by secular goals and ambitions, so being secular and religious is not mutually exclusive it seems in some regions.
