After over a decade of having Waterloo Station as the Eurostar entry point into the UK, the Eurostar station was moved from London's Waterloo rail station to Central London's St. Pancras Station, following an £800 million restoration project to save and restore the historic gothic train station of St. Pancras.

Special Victorian paintwork and glass was involved in creating the ceiling, statues of poets, the longest champagne bar in the world, etc, was placed inside the St. Pancras International Station, before the new station was opened with a large ceremony attended by the Queen.

Manhattan style apartments were placed into the adjacent hotel.

It's the Eurostar station for high-speed undersea rail to continental Europe.
