Most of them aren't used. You see, the people who write the dictionaries love collecting words despite most of them not even being used in English. In their mind if it is used once or twice by an English speaker than it is fit for the dictionary.
That's why English has a million words now, about 80% to 90% of them are probably useless, obsolete and archaic words only ever used a very few times in their entire history.

I recently saw the word Kismet with me very own eyes being used by a native speaker(if I'm not mistaken) in this very board.

Kismet isn't on the list. I looked up origin it's from Arabic but entered English Via Turkish. kiosk is from Persian. Knish is Polish don't know why it's on the list. I only looked at those 3 words and none are Turkish.

I think only horde, lackey and yoghurt are commonly used in modern English.
