Pro or anti-Abortion?

No one is his/her right mind is PRO abortion.

I am pro-abortion but ofc `till 3 months. If neither the father nor the mother wants the child, they should be free to do abortion. No one can interfere to them and no one should be able to forbid them to do this. It`s no one`s business except the parents.

=> Dr says that the baby has got a higher chance to be unhealthy (most probably the baby has a genetic disorder therefore it will have some sort of disability).

Would you like to give a birth to a mentally or physically disorder child?

Would you be able to to live `till the end of his life and take care of him?

Who will take care of him if you die before him?

That kid will curse you all for being born and exist in this world as he grow up, especially if he has a serious disorder preventing him to have a normal life or if he has no legs, arms or something like that. He will curse his parents and to the whole world as much as he sees healthy people around him. Who wants to be a cripple?

So, if the child has defects, parents should be able to do abortion even if the mother is 9 months old pregnant.

I am against abortion but I find the idea of the State banning it out of religious ideals to be as repugnant as abortion itself: big government interfering in the private realm and a lack of separation between church and state are a no no for me. I find the idea of women throwing themselves down the stairs and consulting back-alley abortionists (like what happened in this country before 1984) to be even worse and I prefer to keep it rare but safe. Having said that: I will not allow abortion in my family (only in the case of rape, when the child will be born handicapped or when the life of mother and child are in danger).

I am very happy to know that my family (from my ancestors down to my own generation) has a clean slate when it comes to abortion and I intend to keep that grave social ill outside our doors and I will make sure that the girlfriends of my future sons and my daughters will not have them unless absolutely necessary and then I will be very happy to know that it is legal so they will not endanger their lifes.

Because many times the mother cant raise the child by herself... and in a society like the greek... it almost sure that she will never marry and at least her future for a family will be over. A divorced woman may marry again even with a child but a single mother? Chances are close to zero..

Our islamic headed PM spoke about abortion supposedly being equal to murder and the women all around Turkey organized protestations against him and to all the anti-abortion people.

I am certainly not 'pro-abortion', but I am in favour of safe and legal abortions for women at risk, doomed pregnancies, and pregnancies that are the result of rape and/or incest.

In cases of rape,or if the child is a flid etc then im pro.

Otherwise im against the idea.
