Ah, I see now. Before when an Aussie told me she cared for possums that lived in her attic I thought she was right weird.

Aw, sometimes I think we need possums and raccoons over here. Then I remember all the things Americans say about them and think maybe not.

Raccoons are adorable. The only problem is that some of them carry diseases. But a healthy raccoon is a joy to behold, and you can pretty well tame them, they are so curious and clever.
