Layne Staley looks very East Nordid to me. His dolichocephalic head, neanderthal-looking forehead is quite common among east nordids in Russia.
Once I traveled on bus, I saw a drunk guy with a bottle in his hand, who looked absolutely like him. I though about it in that time, and had idea to record him on camera, to make a joke video "Layne Staley alive in Russia", just like "Tupac alive in Serbia", and put one of his songs on the video. Only I got my phone ready to record, he looked just on me, so I put my phone back into the pocket, lol.
