I think you'll find Highlander populations all over the world (like those of the Pyrenees and Dinaric Alps) morphologically evolve the same kind of adaptions to high altitude, which gives them certain similarities.

Basques, Former Yugos, and peoples of the Caucasus show strong parallels in their phenotypes which stem from the same sort of environment (heavily-forested mountain chains in Warm Temperate or Mediterranean-like climate zones).

Well maybe the physical look of mountain people from Dinaric Alps is a little close to those people from Pyrenees but basques have that unique look.
Besides,is clear they are a unique sub-race because they have best mountain cyclists.

That has no ethnic element to it, that's just altitude training.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altitude_training

Belgians, Frenchmen and Italians have produce far more accomplished cyclists than the Basques.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Basque_cyclists
See how many from these people won mountain stages in grand tours.
Also make a comparasion of the number of basque cyclists that won stages in grand tours to Basque country population 2 millions,as percent,to the number of cyclists from France or Italy that won stages in grand tours,

Are you joking? are you saying that Basques have a particular look (thing that already is completely false) only because the Basques have more afficion to the cycling than other people?

The vast majority of Basque people look as any other Spaniard, but there are a small minority who do look distinctly Basque.

To me, Baskids in a way look like more pigmented Keltic-Nordids.
