Thats exactly what they do. The taxation levels here are insane.

And as long as politicians and the elites are as crooked as they are, I don't see the problem with citizens evading at least partially taxes themselves. Here you get punished for working more than the average and having an extra job to add to Your income. And if you want to start on Your own you will get taxed to smithereens. Thats why its widespread among people starting on their own to in fact cheat the tax system. Scandinavia is peculiar in its way of punishing citizens who wan't to make an extra effort.

And as long as politicians arrogantly dismiss the wishes of the people I find civil disobedience to be a fair response.

Not a single guy I know who started his own company within ten years or so didn't evade taxes and do tonnes of stuff that's illegal. That's the only way for them.

Makes one feel good about paying taxes, right? It amazes me how strict citizens are to each other about "doing the right thing", while not directing proper rage at politicians for senseless spending and corruption.

Even here in Norway the political elite is incredibly corrupt, it's just that they are more hypocritical about it and have made the legal system such that their corruption is legal. The whole bureaucratic system is extremely rotten. It's a mental asylum. Reminds me of Chekhov.

And this budget obviously isnt coming from the taxpayers like us here in the US but from your incredibly huge amounts of oil? Norway doesn't even need to charge taxes from its citizens, it is that rich.

What is the purpose of corruption?

It is for public employees to get some money for a job they don't do right? Or you get favors from the government by paying them money.

How it works in Norway and Scandinavia is you have this massive big public sector of bureacrats, they pay the media, television and artists a lot of money and in return these people don't critize the bureacrats. So you have a bunch of "artists" or "project managers" who get paid high salary for nothing and attack right wing people and never talk about these public employees who do nothing in the public sector. Like how they will spend hundred of millions on feminist groups or think tanks or immigrant help groups which are not needed and in return these groups constantly cry about right wing people who want lower taxes.

And who pays for all this?

Young men who work a lot of hours.

You aren't allowed to give politicians money, that's a bribe, but you are allowed to give them gifts, that's not a bribe. Former PM Jens Stoltenberg, f.e., was given a dozen of expensive gifts like yachts, mansions, etc., from foreigners, like Saudis.

The media in Norway is all either owned by the state or by obscure money elites with ties to the political elites, in particular to the Labour Party.

The state essentially bribes people and groups, funding otherwise useless shit. They create an environment of goodthink this way. The state even funds an anarchist group, the Blitz, to beat up people they think threaten them.,

People are taxed and I'm not even sure where all that money goes to. The money the government receives from oil is mostly being invested, a lot of it in companies in the 3rd world with psychopathic practices, for the future because without enormous savings the future of the welfare system will be destroyed under the weight of pensioners and welfare recipients. Many of these welfare recipients are immigrants that are brought into the country ostensibly to provide for the state. Instead they exploit the system as much as they can, which I do not put against them because the system is fundamentally rotten and they just undermine that rotten system.

Norway, I suspect, with good reason, is a country ruled by a very well hidden oligarchy, much of which dates back to the Hanseatic League. Previously mentioned Stoltenberg is of such a family. The Stoltenbergs, and the Norwegian elite, is also very tied in with the Atlanticist power block. His promotion to NATO General Secretary shows that, as well as his continuous presence at the Bilderberg meetings.

It's the case in a lot of countries. Japan, f.e., is ruled by a few families dating back to the Feudal period, including the imperial family of Japan that was supposedly deposed after WW2, but which only went underground, with the permission of the US. Shinzo Abe is their man.
