Default Why do Greeks look Middle Eastern?

Most of Greeks i have seen were considerably exotic and swarthy. So i am wondering what is the reason for that,is it that they have considerable non-European MENA ancestry?

Contact with Anatolia, SouthWest Asia and North Africa probably. They have large amount of Anatolian genes and have some good amount of SouthWest Asian(Arabian) genes based on the Greek samples in Dodcode and other side projects.

Nice trolling, Fyromian hater. Also, Greeks aren't much darker than us.

Or they are just Hellenized MENA-s.
