Southern Albanians share many cultural similarities with Greeks. I don't think you can find a more similar group to Greeks than Southern Albanians. Northern Albanians not as much, IMO they have more in common with the Montenegroes and other Yugoslav groups than Greeks.

Phenotypes - I would say Greece although Greeks have more of a distinctive look. Turks vary too much in phenotypes.

Culture - Again Southern Albanian and Greek culture is very close. For ex, Fustanella, polyphonic singing, food, are very close (excluding Greek regions that do not have these things.) Then again there are many common cultural items that are a product of the Ottoman times.

If we compare Western Turkey to Albania i think it would be around even maybe even Western Turkey. But if we are using Turkey as a whole, then I'd say Greeks.

I have a family member whose grandfather migrated to Turkey around 40-50 years ago, so I guess she is technically my 3rd cousin? She's 1/2 Turkish and 1/2 Albanian (i think), and to be honest with you, she felt completely foreign ( in terms of looks, behavior and other cultural traits.) Not saying a 1/2 Greek 1/2 Albo would fit in better....

Wrong, fustanella is Greek in the fullest way, only tosks wear the fustanella because they adopted it once they conquered northern Epirus. Tosks-1,000,000 people, Greeks-10,000,000. Besides, how could it be albanian when albanians were so secluded from everything? Albanians made no cultural impact on anyone, they were always mountain headers and nothing else
