Hi, I'm an black american female with a love of history and a good debate. I'm of a mix Haitian/Bahamian/Afro-American background and is very proud of it. I mostly study African history, and as of the moment I'm studying the different empires of West Africa. I have to admit that my European history knowledge is pretty small so I hope I can learn a thing or two from this forum.

Now, I guess the bigger question is why would I want to join a forum where many of the members here are far from politically correct. Well, like I said before, I like a good debate.I prefer debating people who say what on their minds with little sugar coating than those who like to skip around the issue. Words hurt me little. I don't think there is anything like a good discussion where two sides of the opposite arguement shape and reshape their opinions, as well as strengthen their position on an issue.

Other than that, I'm a lover of animals, drawing, cartooning, reading, and other nerdy habits.
