Asian or Mexican Immigrants?

In the united states Asian immigrants are immigrating at a larger rate now than Mexicans.

There are key differences in these groups. Asians who come in are not taking "low paying jobs" away, they are taking away top pay jobs, usually coming in employed. Others, refugees of communist countries such as Vietnam come with student visas, but end up staying or through other means such as opening Chinese $1 stores. 60% of them are usually not Christian. They usually attain citizenship easily.

Mexicans come in usually poor, and want to work their way up society from the bottom, are looking for the American dream in the old fashioned manner, they are christian, some have european blood, practice europeanized traditions and speak a european language and generally have compassion for other people of different racial backgrounds.

I'd take the average Asian; they've got more to provide to the United States, and take far less. Additionally, they assimilate better, yet still maintain their ethnic cohesion.

Mexicans by far. They are a lot closer genetically. Their culture is Euro derived. They are Christian. Asians are aliens in every sense. Nice as they may be, they are not of our culture. Mexicans FTW!

But ideally, no immigrants for a while, would be better.

Culturally they do, indeed, assimilate. They learn English at a competent level; they work hard in school and in their occupations; they are respectful and don't commit much crime. That is all I care about. I don't want them to merge with other ethnic groups, racially and ethnically they should maintain their own identity while still providing to the nation as a whole. You see far less Asians on welfare, than Mexicans. You see far more Asians contributing to our economic system than Mexicans. You see far more Asians in scientific research and progression than Mexicans, etc. I'd rather have a population of ORM than URMs.

If I were to let any immigrants in, assuming there were none before, I'd go for the Asians. But I'd much prefer to ship out the illegals, and put a moratorium on all immigration. At some point we need to realize that we have simply too many people already.

Asians are the obvious answer. Logicaly, you would pick the people with high IQ averages who don't cause many issues.

They gave us Nvidia. Well, atleast one of the founders was an Asian. I'm trying to think of a Mexican that started one our world famous corporations.

Unlike Jews, there hasn't been historical evidence for Asians to undermine and manipulate the greater government. Plus they don't have a scapegoat to turn to, and are far less cohesive (they're separated into Japanese, Chinese, etc.)
