As a convinced Catholic, I wouldn't want to share my life with someone who doesn't share my same spiritual views, so I voted no. In the past I dated Jewish girls, Protestant girls and even a Muslim girl, and the results for me were negative.

Religion isn't an issue until there are children. A child can't belong to two religions simultaneously. This is where there will be friction.
