Sweden has certainly been more powerful than Norway historically, but I don't think my country is superior. We were unaffected by the stacked crises of WWII, and thus able to build a well-functioning society. As recently as the late 19th century large segments of our nation suffered from mass starvation.
All Scandinavian countries are comparatively well-off, structured, rich and peaceful. The Norwegians do however have some strange laws in action that are akin to the mediaeval era; forced Sabbath for certain enterprises, for example.![]()
