Default Do you have a beard?

I've been reading this site about beard growth. Quite interesting. I also realised the fact that some races, like most Native Americans, are unable to grow beards as they have no facial hair at all. Ever seen an Amazonian "Indian" with a beard?

Do you have a beard? A moustache? Any facial hair (this could be a unisex question by the way ). Tell us about it.

As for me, I am clean shaven. I shave every day, as most people do around here. When I was younger I experimented with a moustache for some months, but in these parts it's considered gay.

Nope, don`t have one, can`t even manage to grow a decent moustache.

(sorry, couldn`t resist when I saw the title....)
Have to say though, I do like men with beards so long as they are groomed and not entirely hedge-like and out of control.

Yes I have a mo and goatee type beard, it isnt long and it's blonde and black with some ginger in there. I have tried to grow a full beard but it's too itchy, drives me mad.

I have what most would describe as a full beard, but which style strikes as classic, disciplined, sober and composed, in contrast to the bushy full beards full of tiny hopping wildlife and personal staled kjoekken moeddings as seen among the revolutionaries in the jungle and in the students catinas...

It's called a Shorted Boxed Beard:
    http://www.dyers.org/blog/beards/beard-type-chart/
A carefully groomed and trimmed beard, cheeks left wide open as possible, sometimes I shave the underlip clean, but the most cumbersome is not so much to keep the beard tight and neat, but to thin out the connections to the chin evenly and straight, allowing to keep the space just above the chin clean...

And many are the grunts and groans this Grumpy Old Fart emits in the air when the action fails flatly and somewhere here and there a licentious wisp of hairs curl upward of a meticulous groom...
But a snip and sigh later, the result in the mirror is nice to behold and I walk out of the bathroom with a light step, ready to parade along columns of people falling on their knees for my presence ...
Ok, that's the part where wishful thinking infiltrates the account...

Mine probably says too much about the things I don't want to admit about my character, as it comes and goes, gets wiped away on a whim, changes shape once a month, and periodically runs riot.

Anyone have any recommendations versus 'patchiness'? There's plenty of styles I'd love to play with, if only for an evening before thinking better of it and removing it all, but there's an irritating little gap in one important place...

I shave about once a week. I have let it grow longer and I actually quite like it. I think it makes you look like a man - if I can sound like a doofus for a second - but as was said by.....Revenent, it usually ends up annoying the hell out of me and the missus moans and women stop looking at me the way they do around the day-to-day, so, I shave.

When I grow old, I want to be like my Dad and have a full beard and a 'don't give a fuck' attitude. I may even grow my hair long again.

I personally despise any kind of body hair, it makes me feel uncomfortable, so I rid myself of it.

Other than that, I keep a "Viking-style" long, blonde hair.

I had a mustache for about a month in 1984. It made me look too dorky. So I shave everyday, except sometimes on Saturday if I don't plan on going out & I know we won't have company.

Quite interesting. I also realised the fact that some races, like most Native Americans, are unable to grow beards as they have no facial hair at all. Ever seen an Amazonian "Indian" with a beard?
Well I don't have that problem . I've never seen an Amazonian Indian but I have seen plenty of Navajos, Apaches & O'odhams (Pimas) & none had facial hair or much in the way of body hair -chest, arms, legs.
