Apparently there's a movie on production been made, i don't know who the stars are.

It has potential, a great story line, intriguing characters, action, drama, mystery etc... but somehow Hollywood has a hardtime making Games into Movies worth watching. We've seen happen with many other games-movies now. Hope they make it work for a change.

If I'm correct, Hideo Kojima based the video game series or at least the main character, on films such as "Terminator" and "Escape from New York".

Chris Hemsworth would make a great solid snake. He's played fictional characters before. He's got the perfect anglo-saxon face. He's got the large bady and frame. And he's got quite a deep voice, with some work could fit.
