Um, how many of the men studied were Muslim men with multiple wives, and how many of them were not?

My husband and his brother talked about this study once, and my brother in law was saying that "the ones who were contracting most of the AIDS and HIV were most likely the blacks who were uncircumcised who also happened to be doing most of the raping of the women in wartime. Muslims have a lot of wives, they have variety but it's a contained unit."

Not saying that that is the reason, but I think that it's a valid question.

I for one think that it's a ridiculous argument to make for circumcision. I don't think that the presence of a foreskin is able to make one bit of difference in your contracting or avoiding a disease.

Even assuming that it is true (which it isn't), it still doesn't even come close to outweighing the disadvantages of circumcision. Circumcision is fucking disgusting, there's no logical excuse for advocating it, despite people's ongoing desperate attempts to find one. It is child abuse, period.
