Well I didn't use any Taylshis, Gilakis, Azeris, Mazanderanis, Kurds, Baluchis, etc. So only ethnic Persians (which as you know mainly inhabit southern areas which are much different in climate.)
I disagree though. He doesn't look Assyrian or Arab despite his darker complexion. His look as actually very common for southern Iran. More so than the other guy you posted before.

Most Persians live in Central, North, South/Southwest Iran. While Kurds and Baloch indeed have their own national identity and feeling, the Mazandaranis, Gilakis, most Azeris and Talysh feel Iranian and most even tend to think Persian=Iranian and often consider themselves simply as Persian from my knowledge.

To be honest his look might be found in South Iran yet it is more typical for Jordan imo.
South iranians tend to look more like this

There is some overlap between Levants and Iranians, so I wouldn't be surprised if he could pass in both places. You're right, he may not be the most common face in southern Iran, but he is fairly typical. No one would question him there because he doesn't look super Arabid or anything. Beyond his dark pigmentation you can tell that his facial morphology is different than arabs, he is much larger headed and more robust. But obviously for the sake of the game, I chose the Persians that still overlap more with Arabs to make it harder.

Great examples of Lebanese in this thread. If Lebanese and Iranians have an overlap it's of course from the time of the Persian empire. I've met some christian Lebanese even who had some features like their eyebrows that seemed Persian (which is similar to the eyebrows seen painted on the Ancient Egyptians for example)
example of typical Lebanese eyebrows (which can be found in Spaniards and s.Italians):
Persian eyebrow shapes:
there is something about the Persian eyebrows are they are wider or longer while Lebs eyebrows are more sharp and angled and more short in length ... In conclusion I've seen Lebanese with this seemingly Persian influence so i do not doubt there is some overlapping with certain families.

When I guess, I usually look and think "Can this person pass as south Italian? If so I'll guess Lebanese" but it hasn't worked for me so far.

It used to be tradition for an Iranian woman to paint her eyebrows like this but this tradition has gone away in modern times.
Now this is more the style:
