You just need to learn what kurwa means and then you know half of the average Pole's vocabulary.

People usually say that Russian is really hard, though I've no idea since I simply know it since my childhood. What I am wondering about is how easy it would be for me to learn another Slavic language if I already know Russian.

Out of boredom, here is my name, declined in all 7 cases:

    N - Una
    G - Unas
    D - Unai
    A - Unu
    I - ar Unu
    L - Unā
    V - Un'! (Or Una!)

And one more Latvian male name:

    N - Ivars
    G - Ivara
    D - Ivaram
    A - Ivaru
    I - ar Ivaru
    L - Ivarā
    V - Ivar'!

Bulgarian is the easiest. Serbo-Croatian is a tonal language, like Swedish, and, for most of latin-speakers, it's a great difficulty.

Bulgarian has no declensions, and only six vowels.

As for Polish, it is considered to be "the most Slavic one". It preserved many archaic features in the pronunciation and in grammar that do not exist in other Slavic languages. I don't know if it makes Polish the "hardest" one, but for the English speakers, any language that has 6-7 cases is "hard" at the beginning.

Russian also has 6 noun cases, Latvian has 7.
Maybe Polish pronunciation is harder than the Russian one, at least that's my impression.

People have told me that for Westerners not the cases are the hardest part of Slavic languages, but the verbs. Very different nuances in the Slavic tongues as in when to use imperfect and when the perfect tenses.

Westerners think all Slavic languages sound the same.
