What kind of a morning person are you?

I usually wake up in a good mood. Then I get in a bad mood because it's a constant battle to get the children up, dressed and ready for school. We leave late and then traffic is chaotic. Messes up my day. Add to that that I cook breakfast and noone is hungry, so bacon, eggs and toast get chucked. One of these days I will simply smile, rip the duvets off and pour iced water over their heads. Won't prepare lunchboxes or breakfast and therefore, will have more time to apply cream and makeup.

That said, I'd rather wake up happy with three healthy and happy children than not having them around.

I am not a morning person......at all. If anything is off when I first wake up, I can become an instant bitch from hell

If hubs puts caffeine in my piehole ASAP, I become a much more normal person

My son just started school this year. I am figuring out the best way to get him up is to start in with playful tickles, hugs, and kisses...and be as silly and dorky as possible. Thus far, it works out well

He eats breakfast at school so I can actually have him up and out of the house in about 15 mins from the moment he is awoken. Pretty good for a 5 year old!

It helps us that we have already established a routine that we don't waiver from on school nights. He always gets about 10 hours of sleep on school nights so he doesn't wake up as grouchy in the am

Then, after he is in school, if I am able to, I can go home and go back to BED!!

Being retired and living alone, I don't HAVE to get up in the morning at all unless I have an appointment. This morning, I got up at 9:45; for me, that's
EARLY. I awoke at about 9:30 and Skye, my cat, stomped all over me for fifteen minutes until I got up.

What she wanted me up for (if that's what she was up to), I don't know. Her kibbles sre available any time from a gravity feeder and she doesn't get anything else to eat until around 8:30 PM. Maybe she was lonesome.

I am a morning person and I usually wake up each morning feeling a fresh start to the world. As the day goes on though, I become more bitter and jaded and by afternoon, I'm sick of everything and everyone. I always perk back up again after I get home to my sanctuary.

I'm the kind of person that insults doors, tea and everything I see around.
Do not talk to me in the morning, espcially when I eat my breakfast.

I suppose I am pretty much regular morning person. I normally wake up at 8 or 9 am, then get up and go downstair to get breakfast and after breakfast, I go to the bathroom and wash my hair, brush my teeth/lip, wash my face and hand with Carex. And then, I go to my room and get my clothing. That's it.
