    A dialect of Ligurian called Tabarchino, spoken in some parts of Sardinia, was spoken too until late 19th century in the small island of Tabarca in Spain A song in Tabarchino from De Andre too:

    Nobody know this fact, but ligurian is the official language of one european country...


    ....Monaco/Montecarlo, since moengasque is a ligurian dialect.

    sounds Occitan with strong Italian influence... or Italian with strong Occitan influence

    very nice language btw! I'm very interested in Gallo Romance Languages

    By some linguists is NOT classified as Gallo Italic/Celtic Italic, indeed it's very different from Emilian-Lombard-Piedmontese-Rumagnol. This is the reason why southern piedmontese and ligurian sounds somewhat portuguese, on the contrary from Emilia-Lombard (and eastern piedmont) which have sounds that are almost indentical to french.
