A lot of people in Palermo look like that.. possibly some Norman influence though he looks like he could be north Italian or Corsican.

The reason Sicilians have his look is because after the Moorish period, the Normans repopulated some abandoned villages with people from northern Italy and southern France.

No, his features are typical in Sicily, for me is not norman heritage, this characteristics are typicals also in South Italy.
In the third picture he look a bit like Francesco Facchinetti, who is from Bergamo (Eastern Lombard).
