Hi there,

I've been on a couple of other forums (ABF, Eupedia, Molgen) and my primary interests are in Genetics, History and Archaeology. I like quite a range of music, am more into metal than other things, but also neo-folk, electro, even reggae at times.
My ancestral background is mostly NW European/Celto-Germanic, with perhaps some distant ancestry from West Asia & Near East. I'm basically 13.5/16 English, 1/16 Welsh, 1/16 Irish and 1/32 Scottish, in terms of documented ancestry. My English ancestry is from Kent, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Hampshire, London, Cheshire, Yorkshire, Northumberland. My Irish ancestry is from Dublin, my Welsh from Pembrokeshire, and my Scottish from Berwickshire.
I have had my DNA tested, as well as that of my parents. I use GEDmatch a fair bit (for matches as well as the admixture tools) but will post them in the relevant threads when i get around it.

Not sure to be honest - I have a bit of ancestry from London and it is probably through there at some point - I'll hopefully find some solid evidence (ie 'paper') when we push the lines back a bit further where we can. It's something i'm pretty certain is there but i don't know how, why or exactly when.
